MedRefillCare by Americare Telehealth
⚡ Completed refill requests are reviewed during business hours. Review times vary. Some requests may require additional information, video evaluation, records, testing, or in-person follow-up and may take longer. Prescriptions are issued only when medically appropriate and are not guaranteed.
MedRefillCare (also written Med Refill Care) is the dedicated medication-refill service of Americare Telehealth, offering online med refill care from our Texas base. Adults in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida or Colorado who take an established, non-controlled maintenance medication can start a refill review online, with no appointment needed to start. A clinician authorized for your location reviews your request, and if a refill is medically appropriate, the prescription is sent to the pharmacy you choose.

When people use MedRefillCare
Pharmacy says no refills left
Your prescription ran out of authorized refills and you need a new one for a medication you already take.
Regular doctor unavailable
Your prescriber is out, booked for weeks, or not responding, and you need a bridge refill evaluation.
Forgot medication while traveling
You left medication at home, lost it, or packed too little while physically in Texas.
Need an inhaler refill
An established rescue or controller inhaler is running low. Severe breathing trouble is an emergency: call 911.
Medications we commonly review
MedRefillCare reviews established maintenance medications, including blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, diabetes, asthma inhalers, acid reflux, and established FDA-approved GLP-1 therapy. Not sure about yours? Use the eligibility checker before you pay.
What we do
- Review continuation of a medication you already take
- Send appropriate prescriptions to your chosen pharmacy
- Call or video with you when the clinician needs more information
What we don't do
- Controlled substances or compounded GLP-1 products
- Sell, stock, dispense, or ship medication
- Emergency or urgent care: call 911 for emergencies
Specialized medication continuation
Some established medications need a more focused safety review than a routine refill. These pathways are for continuation of medication you already take — not for starting new treatment, emergencies, or controlled medications.
ED medication continuation
Focused online review for an established sildenafil or tadalafil prescription and dose when clinically appropriate. Cardiovascular and medication-safety screening is required.
Anxiety & depression medication continuation
Focused continuation review for selected established non-controlled antidepressant or anxiety medications. Symptom and safety screening is required before prescribing.
